Аmerican Нeritage – ( informal) highly amusing; БАРС – смешной, абсурдный, that’s a rich idea – это же курам на смех. В последнее время это значение стало особенно актуальным, в частности в модном фразеологизме it’s a bit rich (вариант it’s rather rich). Приведу несколько примеров:
